Scarsdale Medical Center holds your Personal Data including your personal information, medical history, vaccination records, pathology and radiology results electronically.

The practice complies with data protection and access to medical records legislation. We are complying with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on how we obtain, process and store your personal data. GDPR comes into effect on 25th May 2018.

We will strictly use your personal and clinical information as required for delivering professional health care.

Identifiable information about you will be shared with others in the following circumstances:

  • To provide further medical treatment for you e.g. from district nurses and community services.
  • To help you get other services e.g. from the social work department. This requires your consent.
  • When we have a duty to others e.g. in child protection cases.

 

We do not pass your details on to other third parties for unsolicited marketing purpose.
